Terms of Service
The terms on which IndiaEVisa.uk provides editorial information and guidance to UK travellers. Please read them before using this website.
Last updated: 1 July 2026.
1. About these terms
These terms of service govern your use of the IndiaEVisa.uk website ("the site", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
2. Nature of our service
IndiaEVisa.uk is an independent editorial information service for UK citizens and residents who are travelling to India. We are not the Government of India, the Indian High Commission, or any UK government department, and we are not affiliated with them. We provide guidance to help you understand the India eVisa. Where you choose to apply, the application is submitted and processed through our partner application platform under its own terms.
3. Information is for guidance only
We take care to keep our guidance accurate and current, but visa rules, fees and processing times are set by the Indian authorities and can change without notice. The content on this site is provided for general information and does not constitute legal or immigration advice. You are responsible for verifying current requirements before you travel, particularly if your circumstances are unusual.
4. No guarantee of visa approval
India retains complete sovereign discretion over all visa decisions. Neither we nor our partner can influence or guarantee the outcome of any application. Submitting an application, and paying the associated fees, does not guarantee that a visa will be granted.
5. Fees and payments
We do not take payment for visa applications on this editorial site. Where you proceed to apply, payment in pounds sterling is taken by our partner platform, and the full price - comprising the Indian government visa fee and a service fee - is shown before you confirm. See our fees page for how pricing works and our refund policy for when refunds apply.
6. Your responsibilities
When using the site and preparing an application, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete and truthful information.
- Ensure your passport meets the validity and blank-page requirements.
- Apply in good time before travel, as set out in our processing time guide.
- Use the site lawfully and not attempt to disrupt or misuse it.
7. Intellectual property
The content, design, text and graphics on this site are owned by or licensed to IndiaEVisa.uk and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, republish or exploit our content commercially without our written permission.
8. Third-party links
The site contains links to third-party websites, including our application partner. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of those sites, and inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement. Your use of any third-party site is subject to that site's own terms.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on information on this site, including missed travel, refused applications, or changes in official requirements. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, and your statutory rights as a UK consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. This does not deprive you of any protection you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of your place of residence within the UK.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies is the one published on this page at the time you use the site, with the "last updated" date shown above.
12. Contact
If you have any question about these terms, contact us at info@onlinevisa.uk or through our contact page.
